Memory Care Apartments

San Marino Retirement Community offers a special care program devoted exclusively to supervising and assisting individuals with moderate memory or related dementia. Individuals accepted into the program are in need of a more structured environment but are not in need of a skilled nursing environment.

This small, innovative Assisted Living Program located in The Arbors has 10 private studio apartments clustered together in a home-like setting. A common dining room and large activity room allows for residents to participate in group activities and meals. A caring 24-hour staff provides for the needs and concerns of each person. Individuals receive assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and medication reminders. Each resident is encouraged to function at the highest level possible, for as long as possible in carrying out the activities of daily living.

Special care residents all have access to a large enclosed courtyard with beautiful fountains, flowers, trees, statues and benches.
